At Fraser Coast Paeds we want you to know in advance how much fees you will pay for our service.  We provide private paediatric specialist services and this is NOT a bulk-billing practice. Please expect an out of pocket cost with ALL consultations. If you are unable to afford private fees, your GP can refer you to the local public hospital.

** Telephone consultations will only be arranged at the discretion of the paediatrician. Expect to pay an out of pocket fee as per item 91836. They will NOT be bulk billed.

**Video consultations are the preferred mode of consultation where a patient is unable to attend in person.

**Video consultations are billed at the same rate as face to face consultations- they will NOT be bulk billed

***An ASD assessment often requires a number of medical consultations and allied health assessments before a diagnosis is made

ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR FORMS/REPORTS OUTSIDE CONSULTATION TIMES

Additional charges apply for administration tasks requested outside consultation times.

These charges will not be covered by Medicare and you will need to pay the Full Fee before receiving the completed forms.

Centrelink forms : $80

Complex Forms:  $100

Requests for other letters to third parties other than the GP, depending on complexity: $80-100

Medical reports for government or non-governmental agencies: rate $420/hour (itemised billing) eg family court - NB - not Medicare rebatable
